Hundreds of civilians may be hiding in the shelters of the Azot plant in Severodonetsk. Some of the people who have already left the territory of the enterprise insist on this, said Rodion Miroshnik, Ambassador of the Lugansk People’s Republic in Russia.

In his Telegram channel, the diplomat noted that the evacuation of civilians from Azot premises was temporarily suspended due to shelling from Lisichansk. According to Miroshnik, after the allied forces cleared the territory of the chemical plant, civilians were also found in the shelters.

“Some of those who came out said that there could be hundreds more civilians in shelters that do not communicate with each other,” Rodion Miroshnik wrote, noting that the evacuation will continue “as soon as security allows.”

According to Miroshnik, the grouping of Ukrainian troops in Lisichansk is doomed to complete destruction. On Saturday, the diplomat said that the Russian army and the People’s Militia had already “cut one of the main transport arteries – Lisichansk-Seversk.”
