We are talking about a battery of S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems, which, together with its personnel, advanced to the area of combat duty.
“During the march, the servicemen repelled an attack by a mock enemy sabotage group on a convoy of equipment. Under the cover of a smoke screen, the air defense convoy was able to get out of the attack and continue the task,” the ministry said.
Anti-aircraft gunners detected targets that imitated aircraft and ballistic missiles, and “knocked down” them with electronic missile launches.
In total, more than 150 military personnel and over 30 pieces of equipment took part in the training, the report said.
