

Analyst software provider MicroStrategy purchased an additional 12,333 BTC. This was announced by the founder of the company Michael Saylor.

According to a report to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, between April 29 and June 27, the company purchased $347 million worth of bitcoin at an average price of $28,136.
At the time of writing, MicroStrategy owns 152,333 BTC worth approximately $4.52 billion at $29,668.
MicroStrategy’s previous investment in the first cryptocurrency took place in April – the firm purchased 1,045 BTC for $29.3 million. Prior to that, the company invested $150 million in bitcoin in March.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $30,300, according to CoinGecko.
Recall that in May MicroStrategy reported a quarterly profit of $461.2 million.
