Finance Minister Anton Siluanov suggested transferring Russian officials to domestic Ladas. Against this background, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev remembered his first “seven” in the Telegram channel.
Earlier, Siluanov spoke at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The head of the Ministry of Finance suggested that the state take the risks of the business of selling domestic goods and called for officials to be transferred to Russian cars.
According to Medvedev, he bought his first Lada in 1995 for $5,000. He later sold this car in the summer of 2008. However, the buyer paid for the car already three times more.
“It was quite a decent amount. Yes, and the car was considered good. Although now Lada has become more expensive, the dollar is not the same anymore,” the deputy chairman of the Security Council said.
Earlier, Siluanov announced the need to support the demand for Russian goods, including domestic cars. To do this, he proposed to transfer officials to Lada cars.
