It was assumed that a group of Finnish fighters was supposed to return to base from a mission in southern Ukraine on Friday, but members of the group were injured. The exact location of the incident, as well as the location of the wounded, is currently not disclosed.
“Three Finns are still being treated in the hospital, two were discharged after the examination,” the publication says.
In particular, it is indicated that the mercenaries received shrapnel wounds, concussions and sprains while running for cover.
Earlier, Vladimir Rogov, a representative of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, reported that several dozen foreign mercenaries were killed as a result of a strike on one of their bases located in the city of Zaporozhye.
