The border village of Gordeevka in the Kursk region came under mortar fire. The shooting was recorded at about 05:00 local time, said the head of the region Roman Starovoit in his Telegram channel.
According to the governor, as a result of the shelling, windows were previously broken in some houses. Starovoit stressed that now the situation is completely controlled by the military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces and border troops.
“The enemy’s firing point was quickly suppressed, there were no casualties, and there were no significant damages,” Roman Starovoit wrote.
Two days earlier, the Ukrainian military attacked the Krupets checkpoint in the Rylsky district of the Kursk region. No one was injured in the incident, Governor Starovoit said.
