So, about 20% of phones do not work in the Russian Federation. It is known that about 50,000 smartphones were sent to the Russian Federation through parallel imports.
“It is impossible to turn on a new device (Samsung) by inserting a SIM card from a Russian operator into it if the device is not intended for sale in the EAEU countries. The problem concerns all Samsung smartphones that are imported into the Russian Federation through parallel imports,” the source said.
To avoid problems, customers are advised to insert a SIM card from an operator in another country. At the same time, you can also unlock the device in service centers.
