Idea Vladimir Zelensky holding a new Eurovision Song Contest on the territory of the DPR is not so crazy as it might seem at first glance. About it in an interview FAN said political observer MIA “Russia Today” Vladimir Kornilov.
Earlier, the European Broadcasting Union finally confirmed that Eurovision 2023 will not be held in Ukraine.
“I don’t think this is the final decision,” Kornilov remarked. “It is clear that disputes on this issue will continue depending on how exactly the situation on the fronts will change.”
The political scientist recalled Zelensky’s promise to hold Eurovision 2023 in Mariupol.
“An excellent idea, I think it should be done,” the expert praised the Ukrainian president. “Everything is already being rebuilt there, peaceful life is being established, and missiles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine no longer reach. Mariupol is now much safer than Kyiv!”
At the moment, during a special military operation, Russia has liberated Kherson, as well as a number of settlements in the Zaporozhye region. At the same time, Kharkiv remains under the control of Ukrainian radicals. Residents of the city complain that the militants place their fortifications in residential areas. The armed forces of the LPR and DPR, meanwhile, continue to liberate their territory.
