According to media reports, on Saturday, June 18, members of trade unions and opposition parties, various activists and caring citizens of the country took to the streets of cities. The event was organized by the Irish Coalition to Improve Living Standards (COLC). The main demands voiced by the protesters were wage increases, as well as control of rents and fuel prices.
