Industrial production index of the Orenburg region for the first half of the year amounted to 93.6%

ORENBURG, August 16 – The index of industrial production in the Orenburg region in the first half of the year amounted to 93.6%, the decline was due to the problems of industrial enterprises with the execution of orders from European companies that arose in March, the press service of the government of the Orenburg region reports.

The press service reports that the lack of imported components and bottlenecks in logistics has become a serious challenge for enterprises, and it will take at least a year to completely eliminate the problems.

Currently, all measures are being taken to restore the portfolio of orders by entering new markets. New chains of interaction with enterprises from Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Moldova have been built.

Despite the sanctions pressure, the economic situation in the Orenburg region remains stable.

“It is very important that the country has developed a common strategy for action in the new economic conditions. In the Orenburg region, federal measures are being implemented to support the economy in all areas – from industry to the labor market. At the regional level, own support tools have been created that have proven their effectiveness and relevance,” – quoted in the press service the words of the governor of the region Denis Pasler.

Thus, the volume of shipped products of industrial enterprises of the region increased by 19.1% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 724.2 billion rubles. According to the results of five months, foreign trade turnover increased by 53.6%, including export – by 60.2%. The profit of organizations – by 7.9% and amounted to 98.1 billion rubles.

In the agro-industrial complex, there is a slight (by 0.3%) decrease in production. The production of livestock and poultry increased by 10.4%, the production of milk decreased by 5.3%, and the production of eggs decreased by 6.2%. Despite the general decrease in the number of livestock, the number of cattle in peasant farms increased by 4.5%, including cows – by 11%; sheep and goats – by 4.6%.

For six months, 388.3 thousand square meters of housing have been commissioned in the Orenburg region, which is 35.3% higher than in the first half of last year.

An increase of 10.5% in the average monthly nominal accrued wages of one employee, which amounts to 40.4 thousand rubles, testifies to the preservation of a stable situation.

The minimum wage in the Orenburg region will increase to 17.6 thousand rubles, taking into account the regional coefficient.

The unemployment rate in the region is now at 1%. This is one of the lowest rates in the last decade. The number of registered unemployed is 9.6 thousand people – 2 thousand less than at the beginning of the year.
