
The Tverskoy Court of Moscow ruled in absentia to arrest the director of the Lukomorye canned fish company, Dmitry Lukashevsky, in a case of tax evasion, REN TV reports.
The lawyer spoke out against such a decision, noting that the accused had not shied away from appearing before the investigator. It was established that Lukashevsky left the country in the fall of 2021. The defense added that the tax arrears would be repaid voluntarily. How much exactly the businessman owes is not reported.
The press service of the Tverskoy Court stated that the accused did not pay taxes from July 1, 2016 to December 31, 2017. Earlier, Lukashevsky was put on the international wanted list.
