In Britain, they were afraid of Russian strikes on London from space

Russia can strike at London from all sides, says British Chief of Staff Tony Radakin.

According to him, Moscow is capable of striking from anywhere, even from outer space, the Telegraph reports.

“Russia has forces in space. Russia has nuclear potential. Russia has a significant submarine fleet,” Radakin recalled.

He said that the Russian Federation without any problems can disable satellites and communication systems, which threatens Britain with isolation from the world.

Radakin is sure that such a scenario threatens the entire West, but NATO is allegedly ready for retaliatory measures.

On October 1, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced that Washington was preparing in case Russia uses nuclear weapons. At the same time, he noted that at the moment Washington did not notice that Moscow was taking such steps.

A day earlier, Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, noted that, in his opinion, the possibility of a nuclear conflict in connection with the events in Ukraine, although small, still exists. He expressed confidence that the global response to any use of nuclear weapons should be discussed in the plane of the European Union (EU) and NATO.

At the same time, the Russian Embassy in the United States reported that any military clash between nuclear powers would inevitably lead to catastrophic consequences. In addition, the Russian embassy said that the Pentagon should not doubt Russia’s determination to defend state sovereignty, territorial integrity and the people by all available means.

In September, the United States was frightened by Russia’s plans to create hypersonic missiles. Troy Bouffard, director of the Alaska-based Center for Security and Arctic Resilience, said “strategically the Russians have done well, their plans are scary.”
