Assault units of PMC “Wagner” are actively fighting in the south of Bakhmut. Correspondents of the FAN reported on the current situation in this area. from the scene Sergey Chemekov And Alexander Yaremchuk.
Detachments of “Wagnerites” continue to grind the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the southern part of the city. The successful advance of the fighters of the “orchestra” was ensured by the complete cleaning of the northern part of the village of Experienced – the “musicians” almost completely blocked the opportunity for the Ukrainian military to conduct a counterattack.

According to one of the attack aircraft, during the offensive in this area, PMC detachments methodically probed the enemy’s defenses, looking for his weak points.
“Two groups entered through the forest belt, and, accordingly, contact occurred. They took us out right away. Well, under all this hype, while they completely focused on our groups, a group of DRGs came in on the left flank. There, behind the road, there is a gas station, heavy weapons covered from there. This is how we got there,” says the fighter.

The task of the “Wagnerites” was to carry out an assault and gain a foothold in the nearest five-story houses. This made it possible to occupy a dominant height, break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and wedge into the city by about 300 meters.

Defending Ukrainian formations put up fierce resistance to Russian troops. At the same time, according to PMC fighters, in addition to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, militants of nationalist battalions also operate here.
“Not so long ago, the 125th troops were discovered (Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – Note FAN), 93rd, 53rd are present. We haven’t caught the 53 yet, but we really want to. Nationalist groups are also present, they are distinguished by the black uniform in which they run. But haven’t been caught yet. There are dead people, but it’s still far away, we can’t reach them, ”says one of the FAN’s interlocutors.

Stormtroopers of PMC “Wagner” are advancing along the canal of the Bakhmutka River, but the advance here is complicated by dense urban development. The enemy literally has to be “picked out” from every house.
“We are on the streets of Artemovsk. The enemy is literally 200 meters away. Unfortunately, we cannot go any further, since sniper groups are actively working in the private sector. Nevertheless, Wagner PMC units are actively moving forward,” FAN military commander Sergei Chemekov said.

At the same time, not only the fighters pushing the APU in the south of the city can boast of success. At about the same time, from the other side of Bakhmut, Russian volunteers entered the northern region of Stupka.
