Housing commissioning in Moscow for five months increased by 7%

The commissioning of housing in Moscow over the five months of 2020 increased by 7% compared to the same period last year, to more than 3 million square meters, the press service of Mosgosstroynadzor said.

In total, since the beginning of the year, in the capital, according to the department, over 4 million square meters of residential and non-residential real estate have been commissioned.

In Moscow, for five months, they commissioned 12 social infrastructure facilities and 12 retail and public facilities.

“The active development of transport infrastructure continues. Only under the subway construction program, work has been launched at 104 sites (including the preparatory stage). This year, permits were issued for commissioning TPU Ryazanskaya and the second section of the Nekrasovskaya metro line with the South-East station, Okskaya, Stakhanovskaya, Nizhegorodskaya, as well as Aviamotornaya and Lefortovo, which were built as part of the BCL, maintain good pace of road construction. 35.1 kilometers of roads have already been introduced since the beginning of 2020, in the past 2019 year – 13.5 kilometers, ”is added in the message.

Earlier, the Federal State Statistics Service said that the volume of housing commissioned in Russia fell in April 2020 year on year by 36.5% – up to 3 million square meters. Compared to March, housing commissioning fell by 41.5%. In just four months, 18.6 million square meters of housing were commissioned in the country, which is 5.1% lower than in the same period in 2019.
