Hackers Hacked EasyJet Database and Receive 9 Million Clients Information

Attackers now have their email addresses and travel information.

The British airline EasyJet on its official website announced a hacker attack, as a result of which attackers gained access to the data of nine million customers and information about 2.2 thousand credit cards.

“There is no evidence that any personal information was used for unlawful purposes, however … we are contacting approximately nine million customers whose travel data has been accessed to advise them to take protective measures to minimize the potential risk of phishing,” – indicated on the website of the company.

EasyJet notes that, after the attack was noticed, the specialists took all the necessary measures to eliminate it.
