In six restaurants and cafes on Patriarch’s Ponds, including Gucci shop & bar, Pinch and No. 13, violations of the requirements of social distancing were revealed when seating visitors, said Sergei Mikhailov, chief inspector of the Moscow Association of Administrative and Technical Inspections (OATI). Establishments face a fine or closure for 90 days.
OATI employees, together with the police, checked more than 20 cafes and restaurants in the Patriarch’s Ponds area and in six of them found non-observance of the distance when seating visitors. “In particular, violations were revealed in the Gucci cafe, the Pinch restaurant and the“ No. 13 ”restaurant. Representatives of the administration of cafes and restaurants were summoned to the inspection to draw up a protocol, ”said Mr. Mikhailov (quoted by RIA Novosti).
He recalled that, according to Art. 1 of the Administrative Code (failure to comply with the rules of conduct in an emergency or the threat of its occurrence) institutions face a fine of up to 300 thousand rubles. or suspension of activities for up to 90 days by a court decision. If the fact of harm to human health is established, the fine may increase to 1 million rubles.
