Former French Prime Minister Fillon nominated to the board of directors of Zarubezhneft

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin ordered to nominate candidates for election as representatives of the Russian Federation to the Board of Directors and the Audit Commission of Zarubezhneft JSC. François Fillon, the former Prime Minister of France, is listed among the candidates for the board of directors in the annex to the government decree.

In the document, he passes as president of the Apteras Sarl company. Monsieur Fillon was Prime Minister of France from May 2007 to May 2012 under President Nicolas Sarkozy.

Earlier, the former head of the Austrian Foreign Ministry Karin Kneissl joined the board of directors of Rosneft. The corresponding decision was made by the shareholders of the company at the annual meeting. Also on the board of directors is former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder.
