Forecaster warned Muscovites about the heat up to +32 degrees on Saturday

Muscovites on Saturday, August 6, expect a heat of up to 32 degrees, which, according to the forecaster, will allow this day to set a record and enter the top three hottest days along with the figures of 2010 and 2014. This was announced on Thursday, August 4, by Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading employee of the Phobos weather center.

According to him, such a temperature in Moscow is 9-10 degrees higher than the norm for August.

“In the age of global warming, this happened only twice: in the hottest year of 2010 (+ 37.6) and in 2014 (+ 30.4). That is, the air temperature expected on Saturday can enter the top three of the hottest for August 6, ”Tishkovets wrote in the Telegram channel.

The specialist added that a wave of 30-degree heat at the end of the week will be the final one this season.

Tatyana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonovosti news agency, told Izvestiya on August 1 that hot weather without precipitation is expected in Moscow and the region this week, except for Sunday. She noted that the average daily temperature will be 2-3 degrees above the climatic norm.
