Oleg Amirov, President of the Union of Automotive Experts and Appraisers, suggested that the Russian automotive market would soon stabilize. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
In May 2022, sales of “cars” in Russia decreased by 83.5%, but in June they began to grow again.
“The Russian car market is alive. I think it will take another two or three months for it to stabilize. Of course, we will not reach last year’s figures in terms of the number of new cars sold, but nevertheless, positive dynamics are observed,” Amirov said.
According to him, the growth in demand for cars is determined by two factors – lower prices and changes in lending conditions.
AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov previously assessed the prospect of transferring civil servants to domestic cars. This was reported by the TV channel “Saint Petersburg”.
