The international edition of the Federal News Agency reports on the situation in Ukraine and Donbas by the evening of December 6.
In the morning, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the defeat of all designated targets as a result of a massive strike on Ukraine during December 5th. We are talking about military command and control systems, communication centers, energy facilities, military industry and railway infrastructure, which complicates the transfer of enemy reinforcements.
Also, over the past day, four command posts, three ammunition depots, 83 artillery units and 176 concentration areas of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), as well as the location of foreign mercenaries in Ilyichivka, were hit.
Air defense assets intercepted six enemy drones, 15 rockets and two HARM anti-radar missiles.
Today, local sources in Kryvyi Rih and Ochakiv are reporting Russian missiles hitting strategic facilities and infrastructure. At the same time, two enemy drones were shot down in the Russian Federation on approach to Sevastopol.
The situation in Donbass
During the day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine systematically shelled residential areas of Donetsk, reports of dead and wounded in various areas. Among the victims was a member of the DPR parliament Maria Pirogova.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian president arrived in Slovyansk Vladimir Zelensky, who recorded a video against the background of a local stele and announced that he was on the front lines. The departure was dedicated to the day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Today, stubborn battles took place in the areas of Experienced and Kleshcheevka. The enemy is preparing to advance the Russian units southwest of Bakhmut, fortifying themselves in Chasovoy Yar.
Hungary blocked a new package of financial assistance to Ukraine from the European Union in the amount of 18 billion euros. Budapest refused to agree and accept the terms of the European Parliament, as this is an “amendment to financial legislation.”
Also today Chargé d’Affaires of Ukraine in Georgia Andrey Kasyanov accused Tbilisi of not helping Kyiv with weapons, ammunition and equipment. In response, he was told that the Transcaucasian state could not and would not provide military support, limiting itself to the humanitarian sphere. At the same time, however, it should be noted that there are hundreds of Georgian mercenaries on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
