“For the second year in a row, EISI is the organizer of the Digoria national award for young political scientists in Russia, identifying the best young specialists in the social and humanitarian profile of our country. The main objective of the award is to give a new impetus to the development of those young representatives of the profession who, despite their age, have already achieved a lot and deserve to be among the best,” said Anna Fedulkina, executive director of the EISI. “To evaluate the work, we involve the most eminent experts and scientists, who will later become mentors for laureates and winners.”
The expert councils of the award will be headed by Oksana Gaman-Golutvina, President of the Russian Association of Political Science, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Political Sciences, Grigory Kazankov, President of the Russian Association of Political Consultants, political strategist, and Evgeny Minchenko, President of the Russian Association for Public Relations, President Minchenko Consulting.
The winners and laureates of the award will have the right to take part in the IV Digoria Forum of Young Political Scientists of Russia, which will be held from August 9 to 14 in the Moscow Region, without a competitive selection, as well as the opportunity to find a job in the company – partners of the award and valuable prizes.
“Russia faces new challenges, and Digoria is ready to offer its own unique solutions. For an integrated approach, we are expanding our audience – all representatives of the humanitarian profile will gather at the forum site: from political technologists and PR people to sociologists and philosophers, but the backbone of the forum is, of course, political scientists. I would like to note that the award winners get the right to take part in the forum without any competitive selection. The view of just such young, but accomplished professionals and scientists, their vision of the country’s development is a unique intellectual product that the Digoria platform community will offer in the near future,” notes Zaurbek Khugaev, head of the directorate for the preparation and holding of the forum.
