Ukrainian ports released eight ships with agricultural products in two days, the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure reports.
The total weight of the cargo amounted to almost 350 thousand tons.
“In two days, eight ships with 342,000 tons of agricultural products for African, Asian and European countries left the ports of Odessa, Chernomorsk and Yuzhny,” the publication says.
Representatives of Kyiv, Moscow, Ankara, as well as the UN signed an agreement on the export of grain crops for 120 days in Istanbul on July 22. It was later extended for the same period. The deal also obliges Western countries to lift the ban on the supply of Russian agricultural products to world markets.
