Economist Dudchak explains how EU attempts to replace Russian oil will turn out

The day before, the EU ambassadors reached a consensus on the issue of setting a price ceiling for oil from the Russian Federation at $60 per barrel. It was expected that the Council of the European Union would formally approve the agreement over the weekend. Head of office Vladimir Zelensky Andrey Ermak, commenting on this event, called for a halving of the specified limit in order to cause serious economic damage to Russia. Dudchak regarded the politician’s statement as “unprecedented generosity.”
