Russian actor Pavel Derevyanko told 360 that he was being asked for “much more” 45 million rubles due to an unsuccessful investment in the crypto business. The artist promised to reveal the details later.
On August 26, the Baza Telegram channel said that after successful investments in the crypto business, through an acquaintance of Derevianko, on his recommendation, he “carelessly” concluded an agreement with a certain businessman.
Instead of the promised 84% per annum, the actor received two lawsuits demanding to pay 45 million rubles.
“Very soon I will make an official statement, so I will tell the whole country how it was. While I won’t say anything, it’s pointless,” Derevianko said.
In 2019, Russian singer Alexander Fadeev, better known as Danko, lost 5 million rubles in an attempt to make money on cryptocurrency. He invested in bitcoin mining equipment, but the seller claimed it was stolen.
Recall that in August 2023, a former employee of the Federal Security Service for the Samara Region, Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Demin, pleaded guilty to stealing 68 BTC for a total of 187 million rubles from a cybercriminal who was under investigation.
