The pace of Russian deflation slowed down due to the rise in the price of cucumbers in the country. Rosstat shared this data in its report.

According to the statistical office, in a number of subjects of the Russian Federation, the price of green vegetables increased by 27.6%, due to which there was a slowdown in deflation, which had been developing for ten weeks, analysts noted.

At the same time, in Russia, vegetables such as beets, onions and cabbage have fallen in price, while bananas, on the contrary, have risen in price, the department added.

Egypt has increased the export of frozen strawberries and potatoes to Russia. This is reported by the export council of the food industry of Egypt.
