Dancer Sergei Polunin told how his grandmother moved from Kherson to Russia

Ballet dancer and dancer Sergei Polunin was born in Kherson. Growing up, he went to Europe, where he was able to build a successful career. As the years passed, he nevertheless decided to return to Russia.

At the same time, the artist’s grandmother remained in Ukraine. According to Polunin, at first she refused to leave her hometown, but some time after the start of the evacuation, she nevertheless went to her grandson in Russia.

The path of the dancer’s relative ran through Odessa and Turkey. When she reached her destination, the woman’s family was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief. According to Polunin, said in an interview with AiF, relatives are calmer when she is nearby.
