Scientists from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul found out which cats are more likely to damage their owners’ furniture.

Brazilian experts decided to check how the relationship with the owner affects pets. Scientists conducted a survey and collected opinions about animals from 500 cat owners. Most of the respondents were women. Their share is estimated at 90% of the total number of respondents, reports the Daily Mail.

It turned out that women were closer to men to pets. Moreover, in loving owners, cats often spoiled furniture. The reasons for this behavior of pets are not reported. It is possible that people close to pets allow them more.

A camera trap installed in Primorye previously captured an unusual phenomenon. The staff of the National Park “Land of the Leopard” shared a video with sika deer diving into the lake.
