Russian users of the Binance bitcoin exchange will be able to withdraw funds if the company leaves the country. This is written by the Nakamotonado Telegram channel with a link to the support service.
The support added that at the moment the option of closing a business in Russia is not relevant.
Recall that at the end of August, Binance removed Sberbank, Tinkoff and Alfa banks under US sanctions from its P2P platforms.
The exchange also prohibited Russians from exchanging transactions with any fiat currencies, with the exception of the ruble.
One of the experts interviewed by ForkLog suggested considering the possibility of blocking restrictive exchanges in the Russian Federation.
Against this background, representatives of Binance said that they are studying, among other things, the possibility of completely leaving the jurisdiction. However, experts called such a scenario “unlikely.”
