Binance leaves Russia

The Binance cryptocurrency exchange will leave the Russian market. The business will be sold to CommEX, which announced its launch on September 26. According to the Terms of Use, CommEX Holding Limited is registered in Seychelles. In this case, Hong Kong legislation is applied to resolve legal disputes. Binance uses a similar practice.

Information about the owners and beneficiaries of the newly opened exchange is not disclosed.

Bitmama case

The BitOK service team has identified key addresses associated with the activities of Valeria Fedyakina, known under the nickname Bitmama, accused of cryptocurrency fraud, and her accomplices. The US Securities and Exchange Commission has delayed its decision on several spot Bitcoin ETF applications from ARK Invest and 21Shares until January 10, 2024. The decision to accept the spot Ethereum-ETF was also postponed until the end of December.
