On Thursday, July 28, the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to open a criminal case into the desecration of graves in Voronezh by teenagers.

“It has been preliminary established that two local minors aged 15 and 16 committed hooligan actions at the graves located at the Lesnoye cemetery,” the press service of the Investigative Committee reported.

The Chairman of the TFR gave a corresponding instruction to the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Voronezh Region, Kirill Levit. As specified, the investigation was put under control in the central office of the department.

The fact that teenagers desecrated the graves of veterans in Voronezh became known on July 28. A video appeared on the Web in which one of them urinated on the grave, and then danced using the tombstones as entourage. He, speaking of himself in the feminine gender, said that he was not in danger and that he was “not afraid of anything.” In addition, teenagers kissed on camera next to the tombstone.

On the same day, the teenager recorded a video message with apologies. Some netizens questioned the sincerity of these words.
