More than 400 people are involved in crimes in Ukraine, more than 1.3 thousand criminal cases have been initiated. This was announced on Sunday, July 24, by the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin.

“Criminal cases about the events in Ukraine are being investigated against representatives of the military and political leadership of the country, members of radical nationalist associations, as well as representatives of Ukrainian armed formations. In total, more than 1,300 criminal cases have been initiated, in which more than 400 persons are held accountable, ”he said in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

According to Bastrykin, the investigators revealed the involvement of more than 220 people in crimes against peace and security that do not have a statute of limitations. Among them are representatives of the high command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as commanders of military units who fired on civilians.

The head of the ICR also recalled that criminal cases were initiated on the facts of the development by employees of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine of weapons of mass destruction, on the facts of the participation of foreign mercenaries in the commission of criminal acts on the territory of Ukraine.

Earlier, on July 7, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that isolation and genocide against civilians in Donbass were carried out for all eight years by Ukraine.

Prior to that, on July 5, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, at a press conference following talks with Mongolian Foreign Minister Batmunkhin Battsetseg, pointed out Russia’s interest in making the facts of the Kyiv regime’s activities available to the public.

In March, the Russian Defense Ministry spoke about the formation in Ukraine of a network of more than 30 biological laboratories working under the Pentagon program. They can be divided into research and sanitary-epidemiological. It was noted that the customer of the work is the US Department of Defense Office for the Reduction of Military Threat.

On June 29, Alexander Bastrykin proposed the creation of an international tribunal to assess the crimes of the Kyiv regime in the Donbass and Ukraine. According to the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, there is no time to waste on this issue, since Western countries are already actively working to create a tribunal against those who participate in the special operation of Russia and the investigation of the crimes of the Kyiv regime.

A day earlier, Bastrykin recalled that since 2014, the RF Investigative Committee has been documenting the crimes of the Ukrainian security forces. In particular, since the escalation of the conflict in Donbass, since February 17, 2022, the Ukrainian side has established the death from the actions of the Kyiv security forces of more than 900 civilians, including over 30 minors.

Since February 24, Russia has been conducting a special operation to protect Donbass. The key goals of the Russian military are the denazification and demilitarization of the Kyiv regime. This is also necessary to ensure the security of the Russian state and people. Moscow also emphasized that strikes were carried out only on military infrastructure.

The situation in the region escalated in mid-February due to shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since 2014, the Ukrainian authorities have been fighting against the inhabitants of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, who refused to recognize the results of the coup d’état in Ukraine.
