Apple Store employees in Maryland voted to unionize in what is the first time Apple retail workers in the US have unionized. According to CNBC, after the results of the vote are verified by the National Labor Relations Administration, all interested employees of the store can become members of the International Association of Engineers and Aerospace Workers (IAM), representing the interests of more than 600,000 Americans. Apple Store employees called their union arm the Retail Workers Coalition (CORE).
