Apple has rejected a new version of the Zeus non-custodial wallet app for Lightning Network in the App Store.

“The app facilitates the transfer of virtual currency, but is not verified by a relevant exchange or recognized financial institution. To solve the problem, provide documentary evidence that there are necessary licenses for distribution app in all places where it is currently available, the notice says.

The previous version of the wallet is still available in the App Store.

Project co-founder Evan Kaludis said the team added some comments and resubmitted Apple’s software update request.

“Being a non-custodial wallet will be easy to come back as the product is just a software interface” Paolo Ardoino, CTO Tether, commented.

Recall that recently Apple threatened to remove the application of the decentralized social network Damus. The developer of the project, William Kasarin, did not rule out the rejection of the Satoshi content monetization function in order to remain in the app store.
