Americans expect ISS to work until 2030

NASA plans to use the International Space Station at full capacity until 2030. This was stated by the head of the American ISS program, Joel Montalbano, writes the TASS agency.

Earlier, the new head of Roscosmos, Yuri Borisov, told Vladimir Putin that the state corporation had decided to terminate cooperation within the ISS. Domestic cosmonauts will leave the station after 2024.

However, all obligations to foreign partners will be fulfilled, Borisov noted.

According to the head of Roscosmos, Russia will start building its own orbital station. At the first stage, it will consist of basic, scientific and energy, nodal and gateway modules. Crew – 2 people.
