Company gets 91% new consumers from small cities

According to Amazon India, 91 percent of new consumers from small cities have bought products from the e-commerce platform. At the same time, in 48 hours, 98.4 percent of the consumers already registered with the PIN code purchased from the Great Indian Festival Sale. The company said that 66 percent of the new Prime Members have also made a big purchase from SAIL.

600 million sales from no-cost EMI
Amazon said that more than 32 percent of the sellers made their biggest sales this year. During the Great Indian Festival Sale, more than 1.1 lakh sellers have received orders, of which 66 per cent were from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. The company said that products worth more than Rs 600 crore have been purchased in this cell at no-cost EMI. Two out of every three consumers chose the EMI option for purchase.
