all Ukraine must be freed from neo-Nazism

The Russian authorities supported the mood of the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Denis Pushilin, who said that “the time has come to liberate Russian cities” in Ukraine.

“The Kremlin supports the attitude that it is necessary to liberate Ukraine in general from all kinds of manifestations of neo-Nazi sentiments – this is necessary,” Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said when asked by journalists to comment on the situation.

The Kremlin spokesman also recalled the need for measures to protect people in the LPR and DPR, noting that this is precisely what the special military operation is aimed at.

The day before, members of the delegation of the Donetsk People’s Republic visited the Brest Fortress memorial and laid flowers at the Eternal Flame. After that, Denis Pushilin drew parallels between the events of the summer of 1941 and what is happening now in the Donbass.

“Today it’s time to liberate Russian cities once again, founded by Russian people: Kyiv, Chernihiv, Poltava, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Zaporozhye, Lutsk,” the head of the DPR stressed.
