The Federal Air Transport Agency has once again extended the flight restriction regime at 11 airports located in the southern and central regions of Russia. This time, air harbors will not receive aircraft until August 5 this year.

The airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista were actually closed.

The agency recommends that airlines offer passengers alternative routes – flights to Sochi, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol and Moscow, from where to arrange delivery by ground transport.

The flight restriction regime was first introduced on February 24, the day the special military operation in Ukraine began, and has been constantly extended since then. A number of airlines canceled flights to the listed air harbors in advance for the entire summer season, until the end of October.
