Aeroflot will open additional flights to Turkey from June 25

Aeroflot will open additional flights to Istanbul, Antalya, Bodrum and Dalaman from June 25, official representative of the airline Mikhail Demin said. Air service with Turkey will be open from June 22.

“Aeroflot will open additional flights to Turkey from June 25: Istanbul – an increase to two flights a day, Antalya – one flight a day, Bodrum – one flight a day, Dalaman – one flight a day”, – said the representative of Aeroflot (quoted by TASS). He added that the airline will continue to monitor the load, and further decisions will be made depending on actual demand.

On the eve of the Deputy Prime Minister and head of the headquarters Tatyana Golikova announced the resumption of flights with Turkey from June 22. Air traffic with this country was suspended on April 15 due to the worsening epidemic situation amid the spread of the coronavirus. In addition, from June 28, Russia will restore flights with the USA, Belgium, Bulgaria, Jordan, Ireland, Italy, Cyprus and North Macedonia and will increase the number of flights to Austria, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Greece, Qatar, Finland, Croatia and Switzerland.

The Union of Travel Industry of Russia expects that this year the prices for holidays in Turkey will remain at the level of 2020. According to the forecast of Dmitry Gorin, vice-president of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, more than 1 million Russians can rest in Turkey this summer.
