A resident of Izhevsk was given about three years in prison for stealing two fur coats


Izhevsk received a sentence of two years and eight months for stealing fur coats from the showroom. This was reported to the press service of the prosecutor’s office of Udmurtia.

According to IA “Susanin”, the incident took place in December last year in the Izhevsk showroom on Tsiolkovsky Street. The lady decided to appropriate the fur coats that were exhibited in the vestibule of the building. The seller wanted to prevent the citizen’s bad intentions, but she managed to sneak away with goods totaling over 8 thousand rubles.

Law enforcement officers on this fact started criminal proceedings under part 1 of article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Robbery”). The Pervomaisky District Court of Izhevsk sentenced the figurant to imprisonment for a period of 2 years and 8 months with serving in a penal colony. In addition, the claims of the injured party were satisfied.
