A man was hospitalized with burns to his face and neck after a gas tank explosion in the south of St. Petersburg

A gas tank exploded on Sofiyskaya Street in St. Petersburg. As a result of the incident, a 31-year-old man received burns to his face and neck and was hospitalized, 78 TV channel writes, citing a law enforcement source.

Doctors assessed the condition of the victim as satisfactory. The patient is currently in intensive care. Law enforcement officials have launched an investigation into the incident.

Earlier it became known that an electronic cigarette exploded in the mouth of a 15-year-old teenager from Yekaterinburg. The student lost several teeth, and also received a lacerated wound on both lips and a burn on his left forearm, URA.RU reported.
