Last week Boris Titov, Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights, appealed to the government with a request to postpone the tightening of requirements for timber storage enterprises for timber warehouses and the execution of electronic accompanying documents (ESD) during its transportation. Businesses complain that they do not have time to re-equip warehouses by March, and the LesEGAIS information system, where ESDs are formed, does not work correctly – in case of their absence, the company faces a fine with the seizure of goods. Under such conditions, negative consequences for conscientious entrepreneurs are possible, warns Boris Titov. .
