On the morning of Friday, February 3, a school bus got into a mass accident on the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk-Kholmsk road. There were eleven children in the passenger transport, the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation confirmed.
According to preliminary data, two people, including one child, were injured in the accident. The Ministry of Emergency Situations says that there is no fuel spill. Now duty services of the Kholmsky district are working at the scene.
It is specified that in passenger transport there were children from 7 to 16 years old. After the incident, the students were taken to an outpatient hospital in the village of Chaplanovo for a medical examination. Three children have already been taken home by their parents.
