The United Russia party wins the elections to the State Council of Adygea with 66.7% of the votes after processing 100% of the protocols. This was announced on September 20 by the Central Election Commission of Russia.
According to the Central Election Commission, the United Russia is gaining 66.7%, the Communist Party was supported by 17.6% of voters, and 7.7% of voters voted for the Liberal Democratic Party. “Fair Russia – For Truth” received 6.14%.
Earlier that day, the CEC reported that United Russia won the elections to the State Duma in the Belgorod region, gaining 51.65%. The party also became the first in the Penza region with 56.22% of the vote.
During the briefing, Secretary of the General Council of the party Andrei Turchak said that following the results of the last elections, United Russia received a constitutional majority in the State Duma. According to preliminary data, representatives of the political force will get 315 mandates in the lower house of parliament – 120 mandates according to lists and 195 mandates in single-mandate constituencies.
In 2021, elections to the State Duma were held for the first time in a new, three-day format. September 19 was the main voting day, and September 17 and 18 were optional.
Simultaneously with the elections to the State Duma, on a single voting day, direct elections were held for the heads of nine Russian constituent entities (in three more regions, deputies of legislative assemblies elected the highest administrative persons) and 39 regional parliaments.
