After the coronavirus pandemic, Turkish hotels do not plan to abandon the all inclusive system, a representative of the Turkish Hoteliers Federation (TUROFED) said. However, tourists are unlikely to be given the opportunity to freely choose their dishes. This is due to a significant rise in the price of food.
“The practice of serving some food in buffet restaurants, introduced during the pandemic, will become widespread after it. Tourists will no longer have the excessive freedom that was before the pandemic, ”said a representative of the TASS organization.
The interlocutor of the agency explained this by a significant increase in the cost of food. The representative of TUROFED believes that in Turkish all inclusive hotels “a la carte restaurants, that is, with à la carte service, may become more common”. He attributed this to a trend towards food types that are driven by economic considerations, as well as meeting hygiene standards and the desire to minimize waste.
