Sodruzhestvo Group of Companies and Rosselkhozbank (RSHB) are investing over 10 billion rubles. in the construction of a plant for processing oilseeds with a capacity of 890 thousand tons of raw materials per year in the Kursk region, the RSHB reported. The plant is scheduled to be commissioned in 2022.
The corresponding agreement was signed by the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Rosselkhozbank Boris Listov, Director of Management Company Sodruzhestvo LLC Alexander Shenderyuk-Zhidkov and Governor of the Kursk Region Roman Starovoit at the site of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on June 3.
RSHB and Sodruzhestvo announced plans to build the first oilseed processing plant with a capacity of 1 million tons of raw materials per year at the SPIEF in 2019. The parties’ investments in the project reach 20 billion rubles. and, in addition to the plant, it was supposed to additionally create a bulk cargo terminal and other infrastructure facilities. The first stage of the production cluster was launched this year.
