According to the founder Dmitry Savitsky, “Silver Rain” can hold out until July, then it can be closed and a new radio station opened – with music and news.
“This is due to the lack of money to continue working due to the lack of advertising on the air. Nothing to advertise now. Of course, there are chances that it will be economically possible to get out somehow. We expect to work some more time. Breaking does not build, it’s not tricky. We turned off the broadcasts and closed them, ”Savitsky explained in a conversation with Gazeta.Ru.
The monthly cost of the radio station is about 15 million rubles, but this time only 600 thousand rubles were managed to help out.
In March, 10% of employees were cut on Silver Rain. A month earlier, the Big Diary program was closed.
