The power supply to Crimean consumers has been fully restored, the Russian Energy Ministry said. Blackouts have been occurring since June 17th due to heavy rains.
“On June 19 at 18:00, restoration work in the 6-10 kV and 0.4 kV networks was completed, all consumers were energized. The maximum number of people left without electricity was 26,200, ”the Ministry of Energy said in a statement.
A state of emergency has been declared in Crimea due to heavy rains. Kerch, Yalta and other settlements are flooded. In Yalta, one person died, 19 were injured. The Crimean authorities have promised residents affected by the flood a one-time payment of 10 thousand rubles. and compensation for lost property from 50 thousand to 100 thousand rubles.
