Prikamsk higher educational institutions are switching to distance learning in connection with the tragic events that occurred at the Perm State National Research University (PSNIU) on Monday, September 20. This was reported to the administration of the Perm Polytechnic, a branch of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

The corresponding order is being prepared at the Institute of Culture.
On September 20, due to an emergency in Perm State National Research University, on behalf of the Governor of the Perm Territory Dmitry Makhonin, classes in schools, technical schools and colleges were canceled. For today, educational organizations should carry out maximum work to strengthen all security measures, noted the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kama region.
“Unauthorized persons, including parents, must not be allowed into the institutions. It is necessary to check all oversized bags and packages, ”the regional department noted.
September 21 in the Perm Territory has been declared a day of mourning, writes Life.ru. On the day of mourning, the state flags of the Russian Federation and the flags of the Perm Territory will be lowered on the territory of the Kama region. Cultural institutions, television and radio companies were advised to cancel all entertainment events and programs.
On Friday, shooting took place in the building of the Perm university. According to the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, six people died as a result. Another 24 victims needed medical help. A student of the Faculty of Law, who was later detained, opened fire. During the arrest, the attacker opened fire on the policeman and was wounded in response.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed the central office of the department to investigate the circumstances of the death of people as a result of the shooting. A criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Murder”).
Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to send the heads of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Science to the scene of the tragedy in Perm to organize assistance to the victims, RT reports. The Russian leader also expressed condolences to the families of the victims, according to the website kp.ru.
