Nord Stream was stopped for scheduled maintenance until July 23

The Nord Stream gas pipeline has been shut down for ten days, until July 23, for annual scheduled maintenance, Nord Stream AG said. Mechanical components and automation systems will be tested.

“From 13 to 23 July, Nord Stream AG will temporarily shut down both pipelines for routine maintenance work, including testing mechanical components and automation systems, to ensure efficient, safe and reliable operation of the pipeline,” the company’s website says.

Nord Stream AG said it had previously agreed on a schedule and work plan for the maintenance of the pipeline with upstream and downstream gas transportation partners.
