Due to bad weather in Dagestan, about 35 thousand people were left without electricity. This was reported on September 26 by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic.
“In Dagestan, due to bad weather, 35 thousand consumers in 12 districts were left without electricity. Basically – mountain and foothill. The most large-scale blackouts are in the Tlyaratinsky, Tsuntinsky and Shamilsky districts, ”the ministry’s press service told RIA Novosti.
The Ministry of Energy noted that equipment and repair teams were involved in the emergency recovery work. The situation at the power facilities of the region is under control, monitoring is intensified.
A day earlier, it was reported that they did not begin to evacuate the population in the Tsumadinsky district of Dagestan – the water level in the Avarskoye Koisu river dropped, and the water receded. Emergency services are conducting recovery work where possible, despite the rains.
Heavy rains in the Tsumadinsky district damaged two houses, one building was carried away by the river, and a rockfall damaged a private gas station.
On September 24, it became known that due to heavy rains in Dagestan, there was a problem with traffic in three districts.
Bad weather is also raging in the Krasnodar Territory. The day before, there was a storm warning there, associated with heavy precipitation, wind, and the rise in river levels to dangerous ones.
On the same day in Sochi, due to heavy rainfall, the water level in the Buu River rose sharply. To ensure safety in the Lazarevsky district, the highways in the area of the villages of Loo, Vardane and Buu were blocked.
